Mabel Washington
Jaz was born into the world of entertainment, and by the age of three performed for the first time. Jaz performed in local Music Theatre and numerous Eisteddfods throughout the region before deciding on attending Ballarat University and has only recently completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music Theatre. Jaz’s credits include: Featured soloist Opening ceremony Pacific School Games; Retrospect (Joining the Chorus) and Shine (Joining the Chorus). Jaz also played Frauline Schneider in the University’s presentation of Cabaret and Blanch Ingram in Jayne Eyre. Jaz’s dreams came true when she made her professional debut last year in Shane Warne the Musical. Jaz is thrilled to be playing the role of Mabel in Fame the Musical.
